PARALLEL THREAD

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

The installation of the “M”-thread of the ABC™ Push-In couplings, ABC™ swivels, and ABC Complementary shall be directly tightened into the ports according: ISO 4039-1, ISO 4039-2, ISO 6149, ISO 9974-1, DIN 3852, Voss without any further preparation.

The installation of the “G”-threads ABC™ Push-In couplings, ABC™ swivels, and ABC Complementary shall be directly tightened into the ports according: ISO 1179-1, DIN 3852-2 without any further preparation.

The necessary torque values are according to Table 2a.

1) The recommended torques are based on threads without lubrication. The recommended torques applies to ports of aluminum, brass or steel. A “torque wrench” shall be used.
2) If lower max torque values are specified for valves, air reservoir etc, these are valid.

Using the ABC Push-In couplings, ABC swivels, and ABC Complementary together with ABC bulkheads, the following reduced torque values (Table 2b) are applicable.
