INFORMATION

Kongsberg Automotive has, in cooperation with leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, developed and produced an air coupling system based on composite material and brass. The Raufoss ABC system is developed for use with Polyamide tubing for the compressed air circuits on commercial vehicles and is fulfilling all global requirements.

The carefully developed, matured and thoughtful ABC couplings system consists of the following elements:

• ABC Push-In couplings
• ABC Swivels
• ABC Building Blocks
• Bulkhead couplings
• Test Points
• Hose nipples
• Accessories

Raufoss ABC couplings can be used with polyamide (PA11, PA12) and HYTREL tubing to one of the following standards:

• ISO 7628
• DIN 74324 (DIN 73378)
• SAE J844

For other tube materials like PA6.10, PA10.10, PA10.12 or Multilayer tubing according to ISO 7628, please ask for detailed releases.

Operating temperature for ABC Couplings is between -40°C to +100°C, with peak-temperature up to + 130°C (pressure less, for a period of approximately 2 hours).

The operating pressure for ABC Coupling is max 12,5 bar for the couplings. Please take into consideration the max allowed tube or other components operation pressure.

The use of our couplings with other media than air is not permitted without prior written approval.

Kongsberg Automotive quality system is approved according to the following international standards:
